This tradition has been preserved through relics of the past, photo archives and testimonies from the island and it has developed after 1926 in the village of Nea Koutali of Limnos, the new home of the people from Koutali. Meanwhile, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, a significant collection of antiquities is exhibited in the Museum of Nea Koutali. It consists of objects, mainly ancient amphoras, which have been collected by the Sponge-Divers of Nea Koutali from the sea depths.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Through the scenario of the exhibition, the presentation of the exhibits tells visitors the story of islanders of Koutali and the way they practiced in the past, almost exclusively, the sponge- fishing profession.
